Decapitated - Tehnički death metal

Decapitated is a death metal band from Poland, founded in
1996 when the average age of the members was just 14.
Being a Polish death metal band means an inevitiable comparision
to compatriots
Vader,
and in this case the comparison is a fair one,
Decapitated giving their elders a run for their money
with an expertly produced,
tight, twisted technical style of brutal death metal.
The trio of
Earache-released
albums from 2002 to 2006 have received worldwide acclaim.

The band was dealt a devastating blow when their tour bus crashed
in Belarus in October 2007, seriously injuring vocalist Covan and
drummer Vitek.
Covan recovered, but sadly, Vitek passed away a few days later.
