Behemoth - Black/Death metal

Arguably one of the best bands to originate from Poland,
Behemoth was formed in 1991 by Nergal, who through many lineup
changes is the one constant in the band.
Their early work was squarely in the black metal camp, forging
a style that really wasn't radically different from others in the
genre.
By the time of Satanica, however, Behemoth started incorporating
death metal influences and matured into an extreme metal force.
Since the release of Thelema.6 they have consistently released
quality albums,
blending the best of black and death metal, creating a vicious and
original style, bolstered by a flawless production that brings out
the best in the songs.
A very recommended band for extreme metal fans.
